1989 Morris 32 Ocean Series
This Morris Yachts Ocean Series 32, a Chuck Paine design, is in absolutely beautiful condition; stored inside, lightly used, and painstakingly/consistently updated, including a new Yanmar inboard diesel, new North 3Di sails, new wheel/binnacle/chartplotter, and much more. LIGHT is a deceptively fast/nimble sailing boat (more efficient keel design, tapered spar) that also has all of the outfitting one would expect from a Tom Morris boat. Boat is lying in Falmouth, Maine.
This is a preliminar listing and soon will be updated The Morris 32 was the sixth collaboration between Chuck Paine and Morris Yachts and combines a traditional aesthetic with more advanced underbody and rig design and a moderate displacement to produce a surprisingly responsive boat to sail. In the words of Cruising World: “Consistently the Morris 32 projects the image of a boat of manageable size with the soul of a larger yacht. As such, it comes close to an ideal design for one to four person cruising, and it is an exciting and satisfying boat to sail.”
