$299,900

The Santa Cruz 52, no question one of the finest racer/cruisers ever built.

City Lights was originally built as the ultimate cruiser with the standard 7.5' keel and standard rig.

City Lights was then put into race mode by adding some sails to her inventory and went on to win the Big Boat Series in the 52 class.

With electric primaries she is easily handled by a couple in cruise mode with all the lines coming back into the cockpit.

The 52’s interior finish and accommodations rival that of the finest yachts in the world. Finished in teak and beautiful fiddleback maple veneers, City Lights spacious two stateroom layout and well-appointed main salon and galley will comfortably accommodate owners and guests for an extended cruise.

With the inventory City Lights has the boat is ready to go offshore cruising and can be easily set up to do the 50th anniversary Transpac coming up this summer.

Construction: Hull and Deck

The Santa Cruz 52 was designed and engineered to yield high strength to weight ratios with specifications that meet and exceed ABS Standards.

The hull is constructed of hand laid fiberglass and end-grain balsa core sandwich bonded with vinylester resin and epoxy using vacuum bag technology in a female mold.

All interior bulkheads and furniture are bonded directly to the hull to provide an integrated support structure that is stiff and light.

The forward section of the hull includes a Kevlar collision mat and a watertight bulkhead for safety.

The deck is constructed of hand laid fiberglass laminate incorporating balsa core on the cabin top and side decks to save weight where appropriate.
