A one time Sailing World’s Overall Boat of the Year, the Santa Cruz 52 is undoubtedly one of the finest racer/cruisers ever built.  From the design desk of the 'Wizard' Bill Lee and Bob Smith, her enduring design brilliantly teams outstanding performance with maneuverability and a spacious interior ideal for cruising. Finished in teak and beautiful fiddleback maple veneers, Lucky Duck's spacious two stateroom layout with ensuite heads, along with a well appointed main salon and galley will comfortably accommodate owners and guests for an extended cruise, a weekend getaway, or coastal exploration.

A spacious V-berth forward with plenty of storage and its own head with separate shower provides owner comfort and privacy. Her aft double berth cabin has a dedicated head as well. Port and starboard wrap around salon seating also provides berthing for an all-up 6 person sleeping capacity. Her fresh water and fuel capacity are geared toward extensive cruising capacity and her double unit Glacier Bay refrigeration keeps weeks of provisions.

Lucky Duck features extensive and very enviable upgrades including a custom carbon fiber sprit for great reaching angles as well as a conventional carbon spin pole, all with a phenomenal sail inventory of North Sails including 3DI main and foresails.  Her rigging package is non-pareil with custom Southern Spars carbon mast and standing rigging, as well as custom rudder, quadrant and wheel - and all lines are led aft via individual clutches for easy sail handling and trim.

If visions of comfortable, secure and fast passage making have crossed your mind, then Lucky Duck will make that dream come true in good stead. Loaded with a fully kitted out B&G 5000 system with ample displays and Sat broadband and phone system, Lucky Duck is THE performance platform for blue water cruising.

Lucky Duck is one of the most sought after SC52's to come to market in a long time. A truly rare opportunity. Ready to cruise, ready to race, and ready for that trip to Hawaii and beyond.
