2005 Beneteau America 423

Designers of the Beneteau 423 - Groupe Finot have managed to put an elegant master stateroom forward with ensuite head, plus two large aft double staterooms with ensuite head and a full sized galley, navigation center and dining/lounging area into a 43 foot hull with great sailing performance. Combining this with a large, comfortable cockpit and easily handled rig makes the 423 a dream to own and sail.

Meredith is a 3 cabin/2 toilet model with cherry interior. She has been very well looked after by the owner, is in excellent condition, and would be the perfect weekend boat for a family looking for that third cabin.

The boat has recently had the sails replaced, rig gone thru, thru hulls replaced, a whole new complete Dodger and Bimini along with many smaller items to make it look great.

Designed by Groupe Finot, the Beneteau 423 offers more standard equipment at a value that is quite remarkable. A confident bluewater hull combined with extraordinary comfort, gorgeous interior woodwork, loads of volume and plenty of light will satisfy the most scrupulous of sailors whether it is for offshore sailing or cruising in the harbor.

Interior

The Beneteau 423 offers a very airy, light & open floorplan. The main salon features u shaped seating around a large dining table that has a removable leaf. The table then converts to a cocktail size table and also drops to make a double berth. There is a bench seat on the centerline for seating around the entire table. To port is the straight settee and forward facing nav. station. Aft of the nav. station is a full head with shower and aft of the head is a full size double berth in the aft stateroom. Aft of the large galley portside is a second double berth stateroom. The forward owner's stateroom offers a large center island double berth with storage drawers beneath. There is a settee to port as well as a large hanging locker and two storage lockers. The master head features a separate shower.

The high quality joinery work employs cherry stained varnished Douka wood - from the mahogany family. Overhead skylight hatches offer an abundance of natural light and numerous opening ports and hatches provide excellent ventilation.
