2006 Archambault A35
From the design desk of Joubert Nivelt, the Archambault A35 (produced between 2006 and 2013) was awarded by Sailing World as the best crossover sailboat of 2009 and is highly regarded as sleek and fast. Built in 2006 as a 2007 model, Mirthmaker is the only A35 in the continental United States. She was purchased by the current owner in the Caribbean after competing in the 2009 Transquadra race from Madeira to Martinique. She had previously taken first in her IRC division at Spi Ouest in 2007 and she'd go on to compete in the Transpac and Pacific Cup.
Mirthmaker was extensively modified in 2011-2012 at KKMI in Sausalito with a ruggedized mast shroud load system, new boom, stanchions, pulpits and lifelines and new topsides and deck paint. She also has extensive custom joinery, updated and upgraded instrumentation, interior cushions, a retro-fitted galley, custom soft storage throughout and an amazing sound system.
The most upgraded and customized A35 anywhere, She comes complete with a six-man life raft, emergency steering system, full spray dodger and sun canopy. Top of the line running rigging and an amazing suit of sails has her completely outfitted to drop and go for any level of racing.
