One of Bacchanal's most compelling attributes is the extent of professional work performed during the current ownership. Extensive invoices and service records are available.

A major KKMI yard period included replacement of the saildrive with a Yanmar SD60 2.23:1 saildrive. The engine was removed and reinstalled, with engine mounts, exhaust hose, raw-water intake hose and fuel line replaced and damaged engine wiring addressed. The engine's rear main seal was subsequently replaced and the boat test-run to verify proper operation.

Forward is a private cabin with double berth and useful storage.
