Named Best Performance Boat in 2009 by Sail Magazine, The Santa Cruz 37 is a lightning fast flyer inshore and offshore that is easy to sail and family friendly!  It deftly combines innovation, speed performance, accommodation and trailerability into one of the top performance boats in its size.

Wildcard is incredibly well outfitted and maintained - lovingly cared for both within and without. She's been dry sailed and kept in climate controlled storage and has extensive upgrades including a custom rudder and bearing refit, a highly fortified keel box refit - both done by Solution Marine (formerly Omohundro) plus a chain plate support refit, and a fresh bottom job in Sept. 2018  She is ready for some serious long haul and offshore racing!

The SC-37 is almost all carbon weighing at under 9,000 pounds. It’s stiff and light, with a ballast ratio of 43 percent. Many all-carbon raceboats have similar numbers, but not many racer/cruisers do. She features a tall carbon rig, and a powerful sailplan. The SC37 offers performance and safety features not found in other series-built yachts.

Her modern hull form is optimized for greatest speed potential at heel angles associated with blast-reaching conditions. This hull form also has the benefit of being relatively slippery in light air, as well as providing increased waterline for maximum upwind speed, and a comfortable ride, creating a highly stable and easily managed yacht capable of speeds in excess of 20 kts with a small crew.

Light displacement and retracting keel and rudder allow the SC37 to be trailered by standard large-size SUVs and Pickups providing the ability to transport a truly offshore capable yacht easily. She comes complete with a Scott Custom triple axle trailer getting you to your sailing destination without the expense of trucking.

Her interior is beautifully appointed and commodious making family and friends cruising a treat. Ready for the race course and idyllic passages, this boat has it all!
