2019 J Boats J/121

Alameda, California

The J/121 is a 40’ offshore speedster that can be day raced or distance sailed by just 5 or fewer crew - the best short-handed J Boat ever - capable of winning on any race track, whether inshore or offshore; while also excelling in daysailing and weekend mode.

Blue Flash has proven that, having come out of the gate in 2019 winning her class in that year's Transpac. She has been extensively outfitted with many upgrades, and highly optimized by some of the best outfitters in the industry, including upgrades to running and standing rigging from SD Boatworks, and Brad Fitzgerald, plus a cleverly designed electronics system to service inshore & offshore needs - day or night - by Artie Means and installed by Offshore Outfitters in San Diego.

With a full suit of North 3Di sails covering all range requirements for inshore or offshore racing, she is turnkey and absolutely ready to hit the starting line and make podium. With stunning flag blue Awlgrip topsides, she is without doubt the best outfitted and optimized J/121 in North America.
